ONE Community
One Community is a grass roots campaign focused on economic development in Bethel Township. Local economic concerns include unemployment, underemployment, and the ability to communicate the needs of Bethel Township with regional economic developers. Furthermore, the campaign seeks to engage non-traditional community members such as students, pastors and farmers in the reconstruction of the local economy. It is our belief that if taken, a holistic approach to development will be the most successful.
A small committee meets regularly to discuss economic challenges and ways to overcome them. The goal of the committee is to Communicate the needs of the community to residents and regional leaders, to Educate people regarding the importance of building a strong local economy, to Inspire people to change their community, and to Act, by putting into practice new ways of doing business.
